Daniel Cendan is Counsel in Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s global investigations and litigation practice group, based in New York. Daniel's practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional investigations, corporate internal investigations, white-collar criminal defense, and complex litigation. He has represented domestic and multinational entities in federal and state criminal and civil government investigations and related commercial disputes. These matters have involved, among other things: compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other anti-corruption laws; claims involving allegations of securities fraud, unfair trade practices, consumer fraud and product liability; and claims made under the False Claims Act and federal anti-kickback law. Daniel has also served in national coordinating roles in multi-district litigation.
