About Me

Christine specializes in advising clients with respect to global foreign investment review regulations, including in particular with respect to US national security reviews conducted by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) pursuant to Exon-Florio. She is Special Counsel in the antitrust, competition and trade group, as well as the firm’s global sanctions and trade group. 

Christine regularly coordinates the assessment and review of cross-border transactions pursuant to foreign investment review regimes, and has advised dozens of companies in connection with reviews conducted by CFIUS. She additionally advises clients on related transactional requirements pursuant to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and national security regulations administered by the Defense Security Service (DSS).

With her additional experience analyzing the reportability of transactions under US merger control (i.e., the HSR Act) and other competition law regimes, Christine regularly advises on the intersection of foreign investment and merger control regimes in cross-border transactions.

Christine has been seconded to Beijing, Dubai, and Brussels where she has worked on a number of litigation matters and cross-border transactions implicating regulatory review regimes in multiple jurisdictions.
